Hi John,
Thank you for updating the info.
I see that first and second are hosted on WordPress.com and are both working, do you have problems accessing them?
The third one https://associationgloballawyers.com is probably misspelled (not registered at all as I see here), could you please recheck?
-
As for the first, I am now getting the “W my site icon (progress) but on clicking on same receive:
You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.
Would you like to start one?As for the second, the same.
As for the third: the spelling is correct. I have now tried
associationgloballawyers.wordpress.com and up comes the site with the ‘W My site’, but then the following message:This site can’t be reachedCheck if there is a typo in associationgloballawyers.com.
If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

Howdy,
The issue is that the WordPress.com user account you are posting from is not the owner or admin of the sites you are trying to access. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the site. You’ll need to log into THAT user account in order to make any changes.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:
Account recovery overview – https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Lost password tool – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Account recovery form – https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recoveryLet us know if anything is unclear or you have any further questions.

This domain is not registered anywhere currently. If you had it registered in the past, that registration has expired.
https://associationgloballawyers.wordpress.com/ is a WordPress.com site that is owned by the same user account that owns the other two sites you list. But it doesn’t have any custom .com URL associated with it.

OK. Thanks. I shall try and work through this and get back to you whatever. The fact is I am paying for these accounts either personally as John Brebner or through the account of the Association of Global Lawyers of which I am President. I have had no problems in the last few weeks up until now and I believe all my payments are up to date. In fact, I have been advised of a duplicate payment which I have yet to deal with. The same happened to my englishlawinmalaga.org and englishlawinmalag.com about three weeks ago, These are also both still live but, likewise, I cannot get into them any longer. I took the lazy way out that time and set up new accounts, but it is getting a bit expensive!!
I would like all of these accounts back and up and running and although I am not ware that any have expired or are unpaid for, I shall, of course ,be happy to bring matters up to date should that be the case.
Thanks
John

Sorry for the trouble, John.
Is the other domain associationgloballawyers.lawyer ?
I see that under yet another account.
If you’re paying for all of these, would you be willing to recover access using a transaction ID? Then we could help you get everything under a single account, if you’d like. Or, if you prefer having separate accounts, personally I’d recommend setting up separate profiles in your browser so it’s easy to switch between them.
-
Thanks for your understanding. I guess I probably got myself into this with some over enthusiasm!
Yes, The domain associationgloballawyers.lawyer brings up the page I used to access with associationgloballawyers.com until a few hours ago and can no longer, but I cannot get into it (“You don’t have any WordPress sites yet”)
Thank you. I would prefer having separate accounts and will happily adopt your suggestion of separate profiles to be able to switch between them.

OK, yeah if you want to just set up a few profiles, then work on account recovery for the accounts associated with each domain, that will be best.
One thing you could do if you use webmail: set up each email address in its own profile. Then, using this account, go ahead and comment on a site’s post. Whichever address gets the notification is the one you’ll use to log into that site, and you can go ahead and do that from the associated profile.

Now you have lost me.
All my accounts are paid for, 2 worked fine (englishlawinspain.org and englishlawinmalaga.com) up until a few weeks ago; 3 (englishlawinspain.com, studyenglishlawinspain.com and associationgloballawyers, com) worked fine until about 11:30 last night. Can WordPress not simply get things back to where they were for me?
I do have the WordPress sites, so the message i am getting when I try to manage them is wrong!
I would be grateful for help from your end in getting these sites up and running for ma again.

We cannot, as those are technically owned by someone else, and we can’t just take the word of one account to make changes to another.
Please send an email to passwordhelp@wordpress.com explaining the situation, and we’ll see if there’s anything we can do for you.
