lost spell check function, help

  I have lost my spell check function, when I toggle the spellcheck button, it goes grey as it used to but instead of then going into spell check it turns back to white (the back ground) and the spell check function is gone. I need this, someone please help me find it again. Thanks.

  Are you referring to the blog I linked above?
  If so, then which operating system are you using?
  And, which browser and version of it are you using?
