Lost stats on 27th November
-
On the 27th November my external wordpress site lost connectivity to wordpress.com via the jetpack plugin. It had an error which I cannot remember now. I decided to deactivate and reactivate the jetpack plugin. When it reconnected all my previous stats were lost. Can they be recovered and added to the new stats please?
Thanks
Anthony

It’s hard to say without knowing what the error message was.
Can you at least guess as to what it was?

I honestly can’t remember. I should have taken a screenshot. Anyway to determine if the stats still exist somewhere?

Is there a list of jetpack stats errors that I could go through to see if anything clicks in my memory?

In most cases, I’d say they’re gone, or it’s either a temporary glitch.
You might want to see if the stats are present at https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats (select your blog from the drop-down menu near the top-right).
Overall, I’d give it a day just to rule-out a temporary interruption.

It’s been a week, I guess they are gone. :( I was given slight hope by the fact that others in the support forum also logged jobs regarding lost stats around the time I lost mine and theirs were recovered.

I do understand that my issue may not be the same as theirs.

Those were all part of a temporary system-wide issue. Everyone was messed up because part of our service when offline briefly.
Once everything was back online, everyone has their correct stats.
Unfortunately, your case is quite a bit different.
If the stats aren’t listed for your blog at https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats they’re definitely gone.
