Lost sub menu

Hello my friends! I am using the “iTheme2” theme and since yesterday I can’t change my backround (so i’m stuck with the default) because the option doesn’t exist anymore in the “Appearance” menu. Does anybody knows what is going on?

Yep! Staff have removed the quick and easy access from Dashboard > Appearance > Background and placed it in that !@#$%! theme customizer. Have you tried accessing it through the theme customizer?

See here for using the customizer http://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ and I’ll resist the temptation to publish a rant on my blogging tips blogs about why that flipping thing exists, which is, of course, to suck us into purchasing a Premium bundle of upgrades every year so we can get the Custom Design upgrade that’s in that bundle.

Thanks for the answer, but the option -even where you said- doesn’t exist anymore. I guess they have removed it and the reason is… hm… upgrade(€80 per year)? Thanks a lot! I appreciate!!!

You should be able to change the background here:

It looks like you have a custom background on your site already. Were you able to get this sorted out?

Yes my friend! I managed to change my background image, as suddenly, the relevant option was made applicable on its own. Thank you very much for your reply! I hope you enjoyed the visual result of my page!
