Lost Subscribers
-
We set up a new website for jasoncochran.com, and had to disconnect and then reconnect Jetpack to get it working … but lost all subscribers in the process. Is it possible to get them back?

Hi there,
When this happens it usually means the original Jetpack connection was made using a different domain. If you’ve since changed domains, reconnecting will actually create a brand new Jetpack connection on our end.
Did you change the domain on this site at any point since you first connected Jetpack? Looking through your account logs I see an old connection for the domain, jason-cochran.com, with 12 subscribers. Are those the missing subscribers you’re looking for?

Hmm, it was at jasoncochran.com, but at some point before that at jason-cochran.com which I believe was then redirected later to jasoncochran.com. But it has been at jasoncochran.com for a while.

Hi there,
Do you remember how many subscribers you had? If the missing ones are the 12 on the jason-cochran.com domain, then we can transfer them to your site.

No idea. Sorry. It is probably not a big deal. If you can transfer over the 12, we’ll call it good. Thanks!

I have transferred the subscribers as requested.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
