Lost teaching page

A very important page documenting a current architectural teaching design process has disappeared from our site. In the site stats I can still see the rankings for that page and the traffic but it does not appear in the pages window. As my students were uploading onto the site today something may have happened to delete the page accidently. Is there an archive I can use to retrieve extremely significant lost content. Would really appreciate any help what so ever.

    The site theme is TwentyTen

    My blog address is http://ecologyurbanismculture.wordpress.com

The page I am looking for is catted Teaching 2012 and it usually appears along the top horizontal bar.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

More importantly, do you see it in the Dashboard under Pages in the Trash? If it appears in the Trash you can bring it back from there.

    See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/

Thank you. I just found it in the trash and have managed to recover it….Cheers, Phew!

Very good news indeed! But let me suggest:

If you have multiple Admins, be aware that this is not recommended, as Admins can do absolutely everything, including permanently deleting the site. Should a fellow Admin delete the site, there is no “wrong-doing” involved and WordPress.com will most likely not return the site. Have a look here at user roles and determine what works best for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/

If you have lots of people with access to the back-end of the Dashboard, make regular backups from Tools>Export so should something goes horribly wrong (like permanently deleting a Post or Page), you have something to upload.

    Cheers!
