lost text in post

  I had an image and text in a post draft. When I published, the text was missing. Also I was not able to get the CODE edit window to open.

  Is that in IE8? You mentioned using it in this other thread.

  If so, I would put IE8 on a shelf until it is out of beta.

  Yes I was using IE 8 at the time.

  Use either Firefox or IE7 would be my suggestion. IE8 is far from a finished product.
