Lost username
-
I am trying to access an old blog of mine that is linked to an email address that is no longer active. My computer seems to have a password stored for that account but when I try to log in I get an instruction to log in with my account name instead of my email address. I can’t get the password sent to the email address because, as I say, it doesn’t exist anymore. I really need to be able to access that account. Can somebody please help me?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Thanks. I’d already found the site. : -)
That site has posts by the author christopherdickenson, which is probably the username that you seek. If so, then you may use that to log into the account, and then change the account email address at your leisure.

Brilliant! Using that account name I’ve been able to log in with the password stored on my computer. Thank you so much.

I have the username, my Yahoo email address, but it was discontinued.

Hi. At login, you’ll notice that it asks for either the account username or email address. You don’t need both to login. The other necessary thing is the account password. Once logged in, you may change the account email address as described in the Update Email Address support page.
