Lost website

    Hi,

I had 2 installations for my website hosted on Krystal. 1 was a redirect at the address http://www.ub9injuryclinic.co.uk. 1 was the actual website with a temporary address of http://www.ub9injuryclinic.co.uk/draft which I’ve spent a long time creating. When I had finished, I deleted the redirect install and removed the /draft part of the address of the final website. I then discovered almost everything I’ve done other than Footer and Header sections has been lost even though I double checked which site I deleted. I do not have a recent local backup and the automatic backup is slightly less old but still useless. I did back up the current website before deleting the old one but that does not restore everything when I reinstall it. Please help!

    Thanks,
    Mikey.

  • Hi there,

You have reached the support forums for sites hosted at WordPress.com. The site at http://www.ub9injuryclinic.co.uk is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org and WordPress.com here:
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

You can still find help! Post your question over in the WordPress community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

    Good luck!
