lost website

  im having serious issues with my IT ‘friend’. He has been managing my website for over a year now and ive found it has been inactive online for 4 months now as he hasn’t been paying the subscriptions and has taken money of several people. He has all the logins for the website on word press and is refusing to communicate with me so i can transfer it to someone else and a different server.
  im desperate for some help as to if the website can be retrieved and how. i still own my domain name and have changed the passwords to this as he had access to this too.

  I’m not seeing any record of that domain or your site ever being registered or hosted here at WordPress.com.

  Could you have built a site with the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org and hosted it elsewhere?
