lost website
-
Our website is gone. We are a nonprofit so our treasurer is not the same person as web person. At first we thought he missed paying our site host–who we thought was Siteground. Siteground says we haven’t had an account there for a couple of years. Apparently, Fastdomain/Hostmonster/Bluehost – has our domain name and we are paid through 2026. I thought I could log into wordpress and the site would still be there, but it is gone. —- I have two email addresses. The email it is supposed to be under wasn’t recognized by wordpress. I used my other email and the passwork which worked, but nothing is there. no website. please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The website I need help with is http://www.nebraskawildlife.org — NOT kimberlys.sgedu.site. WordPress didn’t recognize my gmail email associated with nebraska wildlife, but the password worked. The kimberly site is old from a class i took. This must sound crazy.

Hi @kimberlyst,
I understand how confusing it can be to track down where everything is hosted, especially with multiple team members involved. The site you’re referring to — nebraskawildlife.org — isn’t hosted on WordPress.com, but it is built using WordPress software. It looks like it’s currently hosted through Bluehost (or one of their affiliates), which means support would be provided through their team.
It’s a common mix-up — WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different platforms and support teams. Here’s a quick guide that explains the difference:
