lost website and domain name

I had a website with the domain name thepowerofcaring.com through wordpress.com
Now when I try to open the site I get the message: The domain name thepowerofcaring.com is for sale.
I don’t know what happen. Is there a way to get my website back?Also, I have another website through wordpress.com (66bks.com) is there a chance the same thing could happen to it?

@elmerwinner, the domain thepowerofcaring.com was not registered through WordPress.com and it looks like the registration expired with your original registrar. I updated the primary domain, so now you can view your WordPress site at http://thepowerofcaring.wordpress.com
The domain 66bks.com is registered with WordPress.com and will be fine as long as it is renewed each year.
