lost website and domain name

  I had a website with the domain name thepowerofcaring.com through wordpress.com
  Now when I try to open the site I get the message: The domain name thepowerofcaring.com is for sale.
  I don’t know what happen. Is there a way to get my website back?

  Also, I have another website through wordpress.com (66bks.com) is there a chance the same thing could happen to it?

  Clearly, you let the domain name lapse, ie you didn’t keep your payments up to date, and someone else bought it and is offering it for sale. The exact same thing will happen to 66bks.com if you do not take care to renew the domain and mapping annually.
