I went to visit an old WordPress blog site I had some years back and now it seems it doesn’t exist and my site name localforestlog is up for grabs. What can I do to get it back?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am assuming you are asking about a custom domain name? If so try purchasing it again & mapping it
Dashboard >> Store >> Add Domain
In case there are old records hanging around on your account I have flagged this for staff help if you need extra help

Thanks for your help. I traced it back and found that being a custom domain, because my sub was lapsed, it needs to be re-purchased. Thanks for your help.

You can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

OK. So I’ve found the site, but can’t get into it because when I was using it I had a different email address which is now deleted. That site is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and it was all about forestry. I’ve just opened a new site, which is (email visible only to moderators and staff), and that one I’m just working on now. I’d like to keep the old localforestlog one and add the link on my new site. How can I change my email address on that old site and how can I get into it to edit and add new posts? Thanks for your boundless patience.

I see. The old blog is attached to a different account. If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password over here.
Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive two separate emails during the reset process, so make sure you read them both. If you don’t receive the emails right away, check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes :)

Thanks so much for this. But just one more question. Which email do I use? See my old one, that is attached to the old blog, no longer exists. But I assume only the new blog has my current email address.

I’m really sorry, we don’t give out account information to users other than the administrator. Feel free to try any of your old addresses (which you still have access to) in the password recovery field.
