Lost work

  I’ve spent three hours today rewriting a post. I saved the changes repeatedly and also saw that it was autosaving. I have come back to it and found that it hasn’t saved anything I have worked on except the very first time I saved the draft. I am furious that due to a problem with your site I have lost work important to me and there is seemingly no way of retrieving what your site should have saved. How do I get back the work I have lost through no fault of my own, and isn’t the whole point of autosave to avoid this very situation?

  I also lost my work. I was trying it for free but if this site isn’t dependable then I should try somewhere else…unless I did something wrong…not sure.

  Hi there @bedsitcontessa1 can you please give us the title of the post where you lost your work? Was it the entire post itself or the contents of that post? Have you looked in the Post revisions? https://wordpress.com/support/editors/page-post-revisions/
