Lots of questions before setting up a domain for my blog!

    I own a domain “algreens.com” that is hosted by Windows Live. It looks like I can transfer it to WordPress, and also looks like I have two options with edalgreen.wordpress.com. (1) To either set it up as a seperate domain of its own, or (2) Set up a subdomain of edalgreen.algreens.com or preferably nuggetsfromgods word.algreens.com. Am I correct in my understanding? I am also unclear how my future postings would occur. Will I still use WordPress to post daily to my new domain? Another question, I also post with another blog company to reach a wider audience. If I owned my own domain, would a single post then automatically populate at both blog sites?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi edalgreen,

    Yes, you can do either:
    1. a domain on its own;
    2. edalgreen.algreens.com; or
    3. nuggetsfromgodsword.algreens.com

    if you intend to map your WordPress.com blog to one of those domains, you’ll continue to log into your dashboard on WordPress.com as normal and post from there.

    WordPress.com doesn’t offer integrated cross-posting, so I don’t think you’ll be able to automatically populate both blog sites.
