Lots of things

#1 – I have a wordpress login, as an admin on my site. However, i did not have a WordPress account to access help. So i ‘Created’ one, but how do i link it to my login?? How was I supposed to access help?
#2 – Square integration to WooCommerce. I need some technical help with setting up the integration.
Site: http://www.carouselofhappiness.org.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: Unknown -
I am trying to get to the WooCommerce help. It won’t verify my account – but i have followed the process.
-
Please go to https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/ and select the option “I need help with my account or with a product I purchased on WooCommerce.com” then select “Need something else” to submit a help request to verify your account.
You can ask your question there too at the same time.
-
-
Hm, that should definitely work. Did you specifically see this even when selecting “I need help with my account or with a product I purchased on WooCommerce.com” and then “Need something else”?
-
I clicked the link you sent, the page was there, I selected “help with account” and then “something else” as you directed. After hitting “something else” it re-directs me to “Open a Support Request”
-
And I hit re-send verification code and it never sent me a new verify email. When I log into my wordpress.org account, it says verified.
Again, my first question is how do I get the site I manage with this email as my login, to connect to my wordpress.org account?
-
I am trying to access the woocommerce forums as my questions are about specific technical troubleshooting of the Square Integration API

Try opening that link in an incognito window or in a browser where you’re not logged into WordPress.com or WooCommerce.com. If you’re logged in, it’ll prompt you to open a ticket.
Let us know if you still have trouble.
-
okay, well I opened a ticket by using incognito mode…
Do you guys have no answers to any of the various questions I’ve asked??

We’re public support for free sites hosted here at WordPress.com. Your questions were for a site not hosted with us and regarding “specific technical troubleshooting of the Square Integration API” which is beyond the scope of support we can provide.
This is also why we’ve been trying to help you get in touch with WooCommerce support. They’re the ones who will be able to answer your questions.
I hope that clarifies things.

FOR WORDPRESS:
How do I get this newly created worpress.org account to link to the site I manage? they both use the same email. That is one of my questions.
-
This is now the third time I’ve asked THIS question. No commentary has previously been provided on this first question. This FIRST question is why I posted here
-
How do I get this newly created worpress.org account to link to the site I manage?
https://wordpress.org/ itself is entirely separate from WordPress sites, the two do not link in any way.
-
But when i created the wordpress.org account it took me straight to wordpress to set up a site. I already have a site on wordpress. ??? Now i am just realllly confused.
-
At the top of my CURRENT screen, there is a button on the top left that says “my site.” But that is not the site I need linked to this account. I need the website we already used hooked to this.
-
That’s what happens when you create an account on WordPress.COM, not WordPress.ORG.
If you want to connect your WordPress.COM account to your site, that is one of the features of the Jetpack plugin: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/
-
We have jetpack on our wordpress site…
Which account do I need for woocommerce? WordPress.com or .org?
I am utterly confused. I really wish there was a way to call someone.
-
I guess I don’t have a .org account, just .com. Really there are three different ways to log into WordPress?? I followed the “help” links to get to forums and contact support, but there are no contact options until I set up an account, so that’s what I did and now I’m here.
-
You need a WordPress.com account to connect Jetpack to your site.
WooCommerce.com uses WordPress.com’s account system, and some WooCommerce features also require a Jetpack connection.
