Lovecraft Primary IMages

Hi, Is there a way to crop the primary images and/or move the box with text up? Right now my site shows title and menu then most of the screen is the primary image so readers need to scroll to get to content. Can anyone point me to any ways to adjust this? Thanks!

    Hi,

When you create a custom site header on the Lovecraft theme, you have the option to crop it or to skip cropping, but the image at the top of your front page is not a custom header image, it’s a featured image on a static front page. See the Featured Images support page.

There is no cropping tool for featured images. However, you may edit a featured image before uploading it, or even use the custom header cropping tool to reduce the height of a featured image if you wish to.

and/or move the box with text up?

This might be possible with CSS customization. You may either submit a separate request to the CSS Customization forum or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic if you wish to ask staff here about this possibility.

    On editing images:
In the WP Admin media library, there are scaling and cropping options at Media Library > Attachment Details (acessed by clicking on an image) > Edit Image.
