Lovecraft -Problem with page attributes section

  Until recently I was able to save different pages under the parent page. For instance, if the parent page was ‘Books’ I could add child pages, or whatever you call it, such as ‘Title of book’ and under that also have more pages like ‘Reviews’ and ‘Interviews’. But since last year I can’t do that because I don’t get the option to add more child pages. Even the parent pages that already have child pages don’t show the child pages when I want to save a new page under that. Why is this and how can I create child pages?
