Lovecraft theme

  How do you add a ‘home’ button to the Lovecraft theme?

  You don’t seem to be able to click on any image to enlarge on this theme.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  How do you add a ‘home’ button to the Lovecraft theme?

  You have to customize your menu to add a new menu option called “Home” that redirects to your landing page. For more information about custom menus, visit this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  You don’t seem to be able to click on any image to enlarge on this theme

  Are you inserting your images with the media gallery? or are you using Html codes for tables or any other shortcodes?

  Thanks for this information carladoria. I have added a home button with your help!

  I am inserting with the media gallery. In my other website (also adding images with media gallery) I use the Hemmingway Rewritten theme and seem to be able to enlarge any photo by clicking on it.

  Glad to know the button worked fine.

  Regarding the images, I’m not quite sure what could be happening. If no other members answers this thread, you can add the “modlook” tag at the right side for staff attention so that they can take a look closely into your issue ;)

  Thanks for your response. I suspect that this theme does not allow any enlargement. Am I correct anyone?

  Hi there,

  You should be able to click on an image and it enlarge. Currently, all of the images you inserted are set to Link to: none. Since you already inserted those images, to make them clickable/linkable, you go to the Visual editor, click on the respective image, click the edit button (the pencil icon), and under Display Settings, click Link to [option] – then Update the post.

  You have the option to link the image to the media file, a separate attachment page, or a custom URL. The first two options will allow the image to enlarge.

  Thanks you very much for your help darnelldibbles! I have changed all the images to make them enlargeable. One more question – how do I make this the default setting?

  Hi there,

  What’s so cool about the settings is that the tool will remember your last choice, so you only have to set this once. So, the next time you upload the picture, the default link to setting should be the one you last selected!
