Low quality picturs

  I’ve made myself a new website with the Hitchcock theme, called Travelot.be. I managed to play around with the theme and I’m proud of the outcome, but I have one problem/question.

  Although I upload high quality pictures as featured image I get low quality pictures on the homepage. I there a way to fix this? They are very pixelated at the moment.

  Hi there,

  I can see that your site at travelot.be is hosted with a different company than WordPress.com. It’s running on the free software available over at WordPress.org, which is what may have led you here.

  The difference between the two types of WordPress (WordPress.com and WordPress.org) is an understandable and common point of confusion. If you’re unsure of the differences, then this guide gives a good overview.

  As your site is hosted elsewhere and your theme was designed by another third-party company, staff here at WordPress.com aren’t in the best position to help with questions that may come up.

  Instead, I recommend the WordPress.org support forum. Hitchcock has it’s own dedicated forum there:
