<–more–> produces a <aid>-tag
-
I have a little problem. I’ve noticed when I validate my site that it gets errors where the “more”-tag is, it produdes and
<aid>tag instead. See it here: Link for validator.
I have re-uploaded the whole includes folder and I have even looked through post-template but no luck.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?[Link fixed – drmike]

Fig – I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re on the wrong forum. You need to be over at http://www.wordpress.org/support.

Just for reference though since I see it right away:
The actually should be an ‘a’ tag with the css label of id=”more-105″. It’s probably hard coded incorrectly into your theme that way.
but as Cornell mentions, you do need to be over at the other site.

Wtf! How did I end up in here? I must have been working to much lately. Sorry for causing any problems!
And @timethief: I’m right here, you can talk to me. And I’m a ‘she’ by the way…

Hi there fig8 – I assumed you had already gone as Collin had re-directed you. :o
I’m a “she” too and a size 8 *lol* {waving} :) -
@timethief: Well I think most people wait to get a response, that’s why they post at a forum…
-
Fig – I hope you get the thing sorted. I don’t know what’s wrong, but assume that you *are* putting in the ! in the more tag otherwise it wouldn’t work at all.
You’d be surprised at how many people start a thread and then either never come back or don’t bother replying.
Good luck!

Yep. And if I knew how to fix it I would offer a solution.
I see your new avatar too… ;)

@drmike: Yup, saw it. It’s not the theme (cause it worked just fine before, I even tried different coding) or wrong coded in the post-template.php file. It’s all correct…
@cornell: Yes, I know it’s supposed to be
<!--more-->but somehow I missed it in the post…I’m heading over to the other side with my problem then…
