m2mbiz.wordpress.com is a valid WordPress.com site, however it appears to be owned by a different account than the one that you are posting from. Could you have a second WordPress.com account?

How do I attach it to my account? At this point, I can’t even login to m2mbiz.wordpress.com as it doesn’t recognize what I thought was my username and password.

Once you can log into the account that owns it, you can transfer it to this account. However, without access to that account, there is little that can be done.

Now I’m really upset. I have 2 accounts with wordpress:
1. mt2mt.wordpress.com with a username of mmt2mmt
2. m2mbiz.wordpress.com – I can’t find my username or passwordI’ve owned mt2mt.wordpress.com for 3 years now.
I started m2mbiz.wordpress.com in December 2013 and I have been unable to access this account and cannot find any of my emails asking for me to access this account to make any updates or changes to attach it to mt2mt. Go there and see my picture attached to this account – http://www.m2mbiz.wordpress.com.
If you go to mt2mt.wordpress.com it shows nothing to do with m2mbiz.wordpress.com yet when I access settings for m2mbiz.wordpress.com it takes me to my mt2mt.wordpress.com website to make changes there which is now messing up my 3 year old account.
Since you sent me the recovery password link above, it’s affected my username mmt2mmt (mt2mt.wordpress.com URL) account which I DID NOT want affected. HELP!
Leave my mmt2mmt account alone and help me find a way to access my m2mbiz.wordpress.com so I can attach it to my mmt2mmt or send me an activation code to access m2mbiz.wordpress.com.

Just so we’re on the same page, I am not doing anything to your account. Password recovery is an automated process that has nothing to do with a human. Account recovery (for when you have completely lost your login info or access to your email account) involves a human, but they will email you regarding any changes or to verify information.
Your mmt2mmt account is fine as far as I can see. You are logged into it and posting from it right now. What specifically are you seeing that is messed up?
I will say that it can be confusing to have multiple accounts. I have them myself for testing and whatnot. What I typically do is to use a single account with a single browser. So for example, I am typing this in Firefox right now and my testing account is logged in using Chrome. While you are dealing with regaining access to your m2mbiz.wordpress.com account, you might want to do everything m2mbiz.wordpress.com related (including going to the account recovery link) through a different browser than the one you use with your mmt2mmt account.

After investigating a bit further, it looks like you ran the account recovery process on your mmt2mmt account rather than the m2mbiz.wordpress.com account. That is probably why you are feeling as though everything is messed up.
I would encourage you to try the multiple browser system I talk about below. It can really help avoid confusion when dealing with multiple accounts.
And don’t worry, you won’t have to deal with multiple accounts forever. Once you regain access to your m2mbiz.wordpress.com account, you can transfer the site to your mmt2mmt account and be back in business with a single account again.
