MAC Compatible
-
I have been using WordPress for some time now for my own home page with no complaints from anyone of the two or three who visit it. Recently I have been asked if I can install WordPress on a site that has a broader audience. One of the questions I have is whether WordPress is compatible with MAC or not. Of course I assume it is, but I need to answer the question. I don’t have nor have I ever used a MAC so I am unsure.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Afraid you’re in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG. WordPress.com blogs are not installed on websites.

Please, you are asking a question in a wordpress.com technical forum!!!
Please read the yellow stickies at the top of these forums. We don’t know “Media Access Control”
is that mac like apple? -
What I meant was that Mac, like in Macintosh computers, is spelled… well, Mac :-)
MAC on the other hand is short for Media Acces Control, a network thingy. Check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_Access_Control#Addressing_mechanismWasn´t meant to be rude, just tired of everyone who writes MAC when they mean the computers. Strange, since most people on the internet don´t use capital letters at all.

I think you have answered your own question.
This is what you wrote:
Media Access Control? It is spelled Mac
in the above question, so…
re-consider the details of your question. MAC ≠ mac, nor Mac
Right.
So, wrong forum:

much confusion and best wishes to you! -
In general regarding WordPress (both com and org) compatibility with Apple Mac computers: many WordPress developers use Macs. Certainly most of the WordPress.com staff members do, including developers. So we obviously regard Apple compatibility as a very high priority.
