I bought a new domain and changed the name directly in wordpress settings (the wrong way) and now the page is not loading and is not viewable from wordpress. Please help and advise. I’m not even able to see a backup of what was created before.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

You’ve posted to the free support forums for websites hosted here at WordPress.com. Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

Changing your site URL name in your WordPress settings without first purchasing the new domain and changing the domain at your hosting provider will cause the 404 error you’re seeing now. You should reach out to your host Bluehost for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you undo this problem. They can also help you update your domain if you still want to change that as well.

If you have trouble in the future, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

    I hope that helps!
