  Please help me with this, I would like my domain to be: maryann.pollandt.wordpress.com
  not mapollandt.wordpress.com

  No content in the blog you started –

  You can use http://maryannpollandt.wordpress.com/ – if you want – you can’t put a period between the names – that turns the name into an illegal sub-domain here

  While logged in click on the link I left above and you should be able to register the domain name – or you can go to

  Dashboard >> My Blogs >> Register a new blog – you can have more than one blog on an account – then set the original blog to Private and use it for a spare or practice
