Made a user only account but think I shouldnt have :(

New here. I have a couple of domains that I wanted to link to a WP blog, so when I signed up and saw the username.wordpress.com as an option, thought, hey I don need that, and made a user only account. Trouble is now I have no idea of what to do!
I can host the sites myself but installing WP seems a bit overcomplicated. I can do it but would rather just go the simple route. Can I change the user only account to a regular and just pay to have the domain name point to my blog site?

If you go to your Global Dashboard, I believe right at the bottom of your account info is a link to create a new blog. Try that.
