Made links page, but something is puzzling
-
There were too many links in my sidebar widget, so I cut and pasted and linked them, one by one, to a page. I also added some colored font and a couple more links. It looked fine in preview. But when I looked at the published page, it was minus the colored font and new links and looked different. I should also mention that after I finished the page, I moved the links widget over to the unused widget area.
I soon realized my finished links page is basically an import or exact replica of the info from my text widget because of a couple of previous typos with lower case letters. Also, when I added the new links to the links section, they turned up magically on the page. I still have the colored font in the coding for the subheader, but it doesn’t show up on the page. I wonder why?
http://amusingthezillion.com/links/I just now found this post about a links page template for mistylook and wondered if it is related because I’m also using that theme?

I typed my links onto a regular page. At least I think so. I’m also not sure why the title “Links” is a hyperlink that links to itself. I did not realize mistylook had a template page for links. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Misty look has its own “links” page template and it is automatically applied to any page called “links.”
To get your links page to have the links and formatting you manually entered, change the name of the page to something like “my links” and also change the permalink to something like http://amusingthezillion.com/my-links/ .
