Magazine themes available for WordPress.COM?

  Hello,

  I want to turn my blog to look more like a news or magazine site with categories/columns displayed on the front page, such as “Sports” or “Tech” or “Politics,” instead of having un-differentiated content on the front page.

  I have looked through the magazine/news themes for wordpress.com but am not finding what I’m looking for. Is what I’m looking for only available on WordPress.org?

  Have you looked into a theme called Modern News? I think it might be perfect for what you’re looking for:

  Check it out!

  However, even if you don’t want that theme, you can create a Menu that is differentiated by Categories. Take a look here:
