Magneto 1.9.2.2 migration – is it possible?

    I have a website hosted and provided by Magento 1.9.2.2. I am looking to do away with it and come over to wordpress. We want to keep the domain so we will have to map it, but is it possible to migrate all the data we have? – it is read only site not commerce or transactions take place. If so, how can this work? If not, how easy is the cross over with copy the the html / css/ and JS coding? Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks!

    P.S. I am not a web designer just a hardware guy.

    Hi there!

    I can see that there are some plugins that would allow you to do that, for example, this one. To be able to use plugins on WordPress.com, you would want to upgrade to plan Business.
    You wouldn’t be able to move the HTML/CSS/JS manually, our inbuilt migration tool would only allow you to import an XML file to move over your content.

    You can actually post to the community forums on https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ for some other plugin recommendations. Since these forums are meant for free WordPress.com users who can’t use plugins, you wouldn’t get many suggestions here.
