Is there a way to enable a reader to click on an image and have it open larger in a separate window?

You can add a link to that image as shown below:
However, whether the image opens in the same, or new tab depends on the browser settings of your visitors.
Also, note that images in galleries can be displayed in a full-size carousel slideshow when clicked:

Thanks, however maybe I need to clarify my question. I have an image that I have posted in a recent post. It’s got a lot of text, and I would like the reader to be able to click on it to have it enlarge. I uploaded it from my computer, so it’s not on another website that I can link to.You can view it if you would like to see what I’m referring to. No problem, hoodie27. Can you edit the post, and then try clicking on the image? You should be able to click the link icon then choose “media file” for the option. If you’ll do that and save your changes, you’ll get the kind of link you’re describing.
Let us know if you’re not seeing that option.
