  Hi! Can I install mailchimp for wordpress on my free wordpress site? I tried but when I click on plug-in, nothing happens, except that the screen simply bounces up a bit.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.

  You cannot use the MailChimp embed code and cannot create a pop-up on a wordpress.COM hosted blog. You can create a sign up page on MailChimp only.
