Mail Chimp HTML Widget in Text
-
Trying to add my MailChimp Widget, I’m copying and pasting the HTML from the list on MailChimp but unable to get the e-mail box. Any ideas what’s happening?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here’s the Support doc with info on how to do this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/

I don’t want the pop-up but the side bar e-mail sign up box. I suppose WP does not support that in the text box. I have premium, is there anyway to bypass that?

The widget provided is the only one you can use on a wordpress.COM hosted site https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/
Otherwise, you can create a sign-up page on MailChimp or on Aweber only and then link to it on your site.
If you want to use MailChimp with your WordPress.com site here’s the info from MailChimp Support http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog scroll down to If You Have a WordPress.com Site

A more direct link to the WordPressdotcom instructions on MailChimp: http://kb.mailchimp.com/lists/signup-forms/ways-to-add-a-signup-form-in-wordpress and then If You Have a WordPress.com Site
You can use that your form link here in a Text Widget or as part of a Custom Menu.
