  How do I add my mailchimp sign up into my blog. I have the http address for the sign up page. I need to either create a hyperlink or something – any advice?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,

  If you only have the URL to worry about, there are a number of ways to include it on your site. E.g., you can create a page for signing up, or you could include it as a link in your sidebar. Identify how you want to direct your readers to the link, and we can go from there.

  You can create a sign up page on MailChimp directly and simply link to it from your WordPress.com site. Here’s their instructions http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

  NOTE: Many bloggers use the Visual editor in draft posts first to create the content they want in text widgets. Once they have the draft post set up to display what they want they switch to the HTML Text editor and copy and paste the code into their text widgets. Lastly, they delete the draft post.

  1. Enter the relevant descriptive anchor text you want to link to first. Note that “here” is never a good choice and always use descriptive anchor text.
  2. Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text. (If you don’t highlight the anchor text the chain icon will remain grayed out and not be useable.)
  3. Next click the chain icon in the editor and proceed to create the link.

  I’ve got the URL for my sign up page on mailchimp. I want it to appear on the Side bar. I have tried the blog roll link and the links widget and I can’t get it to appear as a link to the page or for the sign up to actually appear I. The side bar
