Mail Chimp signup form embed code doesn't work

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

I tried to embed signup form from mailchimp, it didn’t work but my site is not loading now, I don’t know what happened. Please help me to remove that. I did click “publish” from mailchimp site and they I think automatically did attempt to embed that form to site. I don’t know from where I can remove that now.

    Can you please help me?

    Thank you

    Best regards

I tried to embed signup form from mailchimp, it didn’t work but my site is not loading now …

Your site loads for me. Where did you try to embed this? In a post or page? Please provide the URL. In a widget?

I didn’t try to embed it manually, I think MailChimp has option that automatically embeds it to website when you click publish button after creating sign up form.

For me website is loading like for 2-3 secs and then it becomes non-responsive and I am not able click on anything on the site.

Can you check, if you are able to do it?

Thank you so much for your helping hand.

We cannot use the code for the Mailchimp plugin on any WordPress.COM blog. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

For a WordPress.COM blog you can create a sign up page on MailChimp directly and simply link to it. Here’s a link to their instructions http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

timethief, thank you so much for all the help and I am sorry to bother you with my stupid questions.

Now, when I am opening my site in incognito window in google chrome, it is opening perfectly but in normal chrome window, it isn’t. Maybe there is some other issue.

Thank you for all the help and I am sorry again.

    Hello again,

I think I have figured out what was the problem :)

I have no idea how come one “chrome extension” named “Tampermonkey” was installed in my browser and that was kind of blocking website from loading and that’s why when I tried in incognito window website worked as that extension wasn’t there.

I just removed that extension and now my site is working fine and I am :) :)

You can un-tag admins team, as issue has been resolved.

Thank you once again! You are the best :)
