    I added a link for MailChimp but then made changes so deleted the code (not realizing that it will automatically update). I have tried to place the code back into the MailChimp widget but it does not upload and tells me there was an error. I tried to contact MailChimp to see if there was something wrong with the code but have not heard back from them. Please let me know what I need to do to fix this error.

    Hi there,

    What error are you getting? What do you mean by

    it does not upload

    ?

    You should be able to copy/paste the code from MailChimp again without any issues. Maybe try removing your MC widget from your sidebar or footer widgets (where ever you put it before), then re-add the MC widget, then copy/paste the MC embed code for the pop-up?

    I guess error message isn’t the right way of describing it – in the code field, i pasted the code from MailChimp and then it does a refresh in which no changes are made to my blog. I then click the save button and the code gets cut drastically from:

    to :

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false

    It is supposed to setup a pop-up subscription window but every time I check to see if it is working it is not there.

    That is the problem I am having too. :( I tried deleting the field and re-adding it to no avail.
