    Hello, I have been trying to connect Mailchimp and for some reason, a popup says I cannot create a list or have subscribers with this site. I don’t know if it is because I have been using the “Classic Editor” instead of the “Block Editor”, or if it is because I have a free blog. Can you help? Thank you!

    Hi there,

    I don’t understand what you’re speaking of. Where exactly are you seeing this pop-up, and what exactly does it say?

    If you’re seeing this on Mailchimp’s end, please contact their support directly for help, as we have no control over how things work on their end.

    On our end, as long as you follow the process as explained in https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/, you should be able to add a subscriber pop-up to your site.

    Note that you should NOT connect your site to Mailchimp from within your Mailchimp account, as that method does not work for sites hosted on WordPress.com.
