Mailchimp Address Field Question
-
Hello,
I paid to have my personal address hidden from public domain on my blog. I would like to set up the Mailchimp service but I noticed that you also have to enter your address here. Are we able to use the paid for address that appears in replace of our own for Mailchimp? My goal is to keep my personal address inaccessible, otherwise putting it on Mailchimp defeats the purpose of paying for this service. Thanks so much!

Hello, Angela!
Informing a real address in your MailChimp campaigns is a MailChimp requirement, not a WordPress.com requirement.
You must include your contact information inside every promotional email that you send, including a physical mailing address or PO Box where you can receive mail. (Not a website or email address.)
You can read more about it here:
http://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/compliance-tips/terms-of-use-and-anti-spam-requirements
Since it is not a WordPress.com requirement, we can’t change it and your Private Registration can’t be extended to it.
The good point is that you can use a PO Box.
