Mailchimp API Request Error

    Hi, i have a wordpress site and i want to conect it with mailchimp account. When i enter my mailchimp API Key, i receive this error: ‘Mailchimp says: API Request Error – cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 60001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received’. I obtained mailchimp ports used for this communication and my web host assured me that those ports are not blocked. Any ideea of how to fix this?
