MailChimp & Disqus
-
Many of us already have MailChimp lists created, and it would do WONDERS if we had a MailChimp plugin that we could install on our WordPress blogs. Personally, I use MailChimp to alert my followers of new posts, and I want to continue doing it that way (as opposed to merely using a “subscribe”/”follow”button through wordpress).
Also, enabling a Disqus widget would be great.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot use the MailChimp embed code and cannot create a pop-up on a wordpress.COM hosted blog. You can create a sign up page on MailChimp only. If you want to use MailChimp with your WordPress.com site here’s the info from MailChimp Support http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

We can use tags search before starting new threads. See 6 years of Disqus request threads and don’t hold your breath.

I didn’t realize there were 6 years of requests like these. I spent hours trying to figure out the MailChimp thing, and I kept running into WordPress saying “if there’s a plugin you’d like to see installed, post “here”–and the here link sent me to…HERE!
So, that’s why I posted.
Thanks for your help; I’ll see what I can do.
