mailchimp integration – not seeing my audience (list)
-
Wordpress doesn’t seem to see my list from mailchimp after connecting to my account in marketing >> connections. I’ve disconnected and re-connected, however it just shows a message with ‘Looks like you’ve not set up any Mailchimp lists yet. Head to your Mailchimp admin to add a list.’
I do have one master audience in my free mailchimp account. do you need to upgrade to a paid account to enable this integration?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Have you followed the steps on Mailchimp’s end that’s outlined in https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/mailchimp-block/#connect-to-mailchimp? Specifically, make sure you’ve set the Merge Tags option as not required.
Let us know if that doesn’t make any difference.

I should add – I created a new mailchimp account and it connected and saw the new audience – switching back to my official mailchimp account now lets it see the audience and connect properly, but the dropdown in the admin panel always reverts to “Do not save subscribers to Mailchimp for this site” – even once I select my list and see the little green notice pop up noting the change.

OK, I believe it’s been fixed. I was using firefox, and it wouldn’t every tick over. Just for fun I tried logging out and back into my wp.com website in safari and making the change – and it’s now applied properly.
