    Hi Brandygolden,

If you’re using MailChimp to publish your newsletter then the mails are not being processed through WordPress.com servers.
    Please read this https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/

    Thanks
    Best Wishes.

    Hi @Brandygolden,

My confirmation email through MailChimp is not getting to the subscribers.

Here’s is how you can do this work for you. I will explain you in steps.

    Firstly login to your MailChimp,
Click on the option which says > ”List’
once you click on that option, If you already have created a List then select the list or create one.

List > Settings > List name & defaults
Make sure you Tick the box which says ”Send a final welcome email”
And also select the option which says ”Send unsubscribe confirmation to subscribers”

And when you configure your Signup Form or Subscriber Pop-up form
go to Content > Scroll down enable the option which says ”Double opt-in”
(Send contacts an opt-in confirmation email when they subscribe to your list.)
This sends them to email to confirm their subscription to your newsletter.

You can also contact MailChimp Support here.
    For self-service https://kb.mailchimp.com/
    or Support Ticket https://mailchimp.com/contact/

    Hope this will help you.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you for your reply! I have found that I didn’t have a couple of boxes checked so perhaps that will fix the problem. I hope so, I’ve been getting very frustrated. I’m technically challenged and I’m trying to build my business but at not at the level yet to pay for subscriptions to things. So I appreciate your help and I’ll let you know if it doesn’t get me what I need.

P.S. I know WordPress doesn’t support Mailchimp embedding forms yet, but I would have thought I could create a page and put the form code there. Shouldn’t that work? I thought I would create subscribers to my mailchimp subscriber list that way. Advertise it on my website, basically, in conjunction with the pop up form. Or do I need to just create an integrated form through Woofuo and embed that into my website?

Here is the link to the guide you must use https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp. Scroll down to The Subscriber Popup Form.

Thank you, I have done that. I saw the pop up once, but I would rather you could see it each time you come to the website! That way I know its working for sure. :)

    Hi @brandygolden,

    When you go to MailChimp
    List> select campaign > Signup Forum> Display
It will show options like > Display >Immediately, 5sec, 20sec, Middle of page, Bottom of page, On exit.
do some split testing and see whichever you like the most.

I am glad it worked for you,
Thank you @timethief for the link.

    Best Wishes.
