  Hi,
  I am trying to add the Mailchimp popup to my wordpress blog. I am a first time blogger. I followed the instructions as stated on both WordPress and Mailchimp websites but the the signup window that shows up is huge and can’t seem to lower it from the header even though I selected sidebar, footer etc. Is there anything I can do?

  We have code restrictions at wordpress.COM. No javascript or iframe embeds from unsupported sources or third party advertising codes can be used on any wordpress.COM hosted sites.

  The only mailchimp code that will work on a wordpress.com hosted site is the mailchimp widget code.

  Hi,
  Thank you for your response. I am only using mailchimp coding, copying and pasting it directly from their website but something is off. When I select to place the mailchimp subscription pop-up box (so that people can sign up to my blog with their e-mail) the window only shows up in the middle of the header even though I am selecting the footer or the sidebar options. I tried this many times to no avail. The sign up window pops up in the middle of the header and doesn’t move.

  As I said above you cannot use the coding mailchimp provides. The only mailchimp code that will work on a wordpress.com hosted site is the mailchimp widget code. https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/

  The widget mailchimp coding is exactly what I have been using. Not sure why it isn’t working in my case.

  Hi @lvar007 , can you paste the code at cloudup.com or a similar service so we can see what you’re using? I don’t see any mailchimp widgets currently. The code should look like this:

  Hello, I’m having the same problem. I followed the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp/ for my blog. Initially the popup appeared. I didn’t like the design so I deleted the widget, went back to Mailchimp, tweeked the design, got a new code, added a new Mailchimp widget on my blog and pasted the new code then Save & Publish. This is the new code: <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>require([“mojo/signup-forms/Loader”], function(L) { L.start({“baseUrl”:”mc.us4.list-manage.com”,”uuid”:”471a84b2bec531e552f9e39c2″,”lid”:”46d573faf8″}) })</script>

  Nothing. The Mailchimp widget now has this text:

  Olá coloquei um subscriber pop up no meu site e ele faz certinho envia o email de confirmação para o usuário, só que o email que é cadastrado não vem para mim. Pode me dizer o que eu estou fazendo de errado?

  Hi @psicologomarceloceleste, the popup uses whatever code you generate at Mailchimp. I’m not sure whether they have an option for the email to come from you, but if is possible, you would configure that on their end.

  Otherwise you can use our subscription form instead. Those emails come from our address, but they will say your site name on them.
