Hi there. I would like to add a popup signup form from mailchimp into my wordpress.com site. I’ve gone ahead and made it in wordpress but I’m not sure how to put it into the wordpress site. Thanks for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The standard method of inserting a MailChimp signup form uses Javascript and form code, which is not allowed on WordPress.com, for security reasons.
One alternative is to create a widget on the MailChimp site. Then, take a screenshot image of the widget. Afterwards, you can add the image to your sidebar in an Image Widget and link it to your MailChimp signup page.

Hi there. Thanks for your reply. I do have a signup form in my sidebar. (You can see the site, it’s btlowry.com) But I’d like to have a signup form which pops up, which fills most of the screen, and that people need to close to continue on with the site. Do you know how to do this?
Thanks

At present, we don’t offer that type of functionality. You can find more information on this topic here:

If this is not satisfactory and you’d like information on moving to a self-hosted, WordPress.org site, let me know and I will forward the appropriate materials.

Ok thanks for that. Now that I know a bit more about it, I would like to switch at some point. I paid for one year of wordpress.com premium, so I reckon I’ll wait for that to run its course, then switch over. Thanks for your help.
