Mailchimp subscriber pop up

  I’m trying to load a mailchimp subscriber popup into my sidebar but for some reason the subscription box appears but it cannot be typed in or closed. Am I missing something? I’ve copied the code over exactly, and have tried troubleshooting online but can’t seem to find a solution.

  You cannot use the embed code. You can only use the mailchimp widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/mailchimp

  I am using the mail chip widget but my subscriber pop up is half hidden under my header space. how do i fix this? it works fine on my phone. its my desktop that is giving me fits.

  never mind, i fixed it. i had it set to correct the header in my theme customizer. thanks anyway!
