MailChimp subscriber pop-up

  Hi, I followed the instructions in the help pages for creating a MailChimp subscriber pop-up form. But when I go to Customizing – Widgets, there is no option for pop-up. Only for a sign-up form, which I have already got in place on the side bar. Is there another way to get the pop-up to appear when someone lands on the website? I don’t have a landing page because I’m using the Hickory theme.

  Hi there!

  What’s the site you’re working on?
  If you go to the widget section at My Site>Design>Customize>Widgets, click on any widget area and add a widget, start typing MailChimp and you should see this:

  Thanks, I do see this option in the side bar. However it doesn’t work. Nevertheless, I managed to find a workaround using MailChimp directly and creating a form that I embed with code onto the page.
