Mailchimp widget into my sidebar, please

  I am trying to set up a widget from Mail chimp into my sidebar so people can sign up for my email list.

  Hello there,

  While a MailChimp widget requires code that we do not allow to be installed on WordPress.com sites, you can still create your own widget that links your readers to your MailChimp sign up page.

  You can add a link — or an image, that acts like a button– to your sidebar.

  MailChimp provides details about how to obtain a Sign Up Form URL that you can use as a link for your widget:
