  I have seen several requests for assistance with the mailerlite plugin but I have not seen a response from WordPress. Is there a capability to add this plugin to your site if you are not self hosting? I have a mailerlite account and would like to integrate the subscribe feature.

  Hi there,

  It’s not possible to install custom plugins on sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

  Plugins can only be installed on self-hosted sites that use software from WordPress.org.

  Further to what @garysixtyeight mentioned, while you might not be able to use their plugin here on WordPressdotcom, you could give your site visitors a link to a sign up page on Mailerlite’s site if they provide one. You can do this by adding the link to a Custom Menu or in a text or image widget.
