Mailing address?

    Hello,
    I’ve been reading about how Mail Chimp users are required to provide a mailing address to be included at the end of every email sent to subscribers, otherwise they will be in violation of the CAM-SPAM Act and can be fined by the FTC. I do not use Mail Chimp or any such service. Instead, I use WordPress’s ‘Follow Blog – Add an email signup form to allow people to follow your blog’ widget. WordPress has never asked me for my mailing address. My understanding is that ‘follow blog’ subscribers are simply automatically emailed blog posts whenever I post one, and it is not really a mailing list. Does the CAM-SPAM Act apply here? Do I need to somehow include a mailing address?

    No need for you to do anything special. We handle any of the technical bits regarding those emails.
