    How do I create a mailing list for my WordPress.com blog? I am an author and want to collect people’s email addresses so I can sent them updates.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Brittany,

    The only way that we really have to collect email addresses is for you to put a contact form on your site which specifies that is what you are doing:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

    This way you would get an email from each person who wanted to get an email from you and you could then create a list based off of that information.

    We don’t provide any exportable list of your followers, I’m afraid. You could go in to your Stats and then to followers and manually copy/paste all of your email followers’ addresses, however we do not provide the contact details for WordPress.com followers.
